The Kennebecasis Paddling Centre began as the canoe-kayak division of the Kennebecasis Rowing and Canoe Club. The club was founded in 1982, in Rothesay, NB, to provide aquatic sports opportunities to local youth. The KPC is primarily a sprint canoe-kayak racing club and has developed athletes who have competed on national and international stages.

Kennebecasis is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors and is supported through membership fees and the fundraising efforts of our membership, combined with the kind generosity of local businesses and patrons. It is a member club of Canoe-Kayak Canada and the Atlantic Division Canoe Kayak Canada.
